Create Your Account

Sign in or register using your unique email address to access the permit application portal.

Complete Your Profile

Fill in your full name, physical address, and mobile number so we can keep you informed throughout the process.

Add Your Cycad Details

Enter the details of each cycad requiring a permit — species, size, and current location.

Select Permit Type/s

Choose one or more permit types applicable to your cycad/s: Possession Permit (R50), Relocation/Move Permit (R50) — relocations within Gauteng are supported; if relocating from Gauteng to another province, please contact us at permits@investmentgardens.co.za to assist, Permit to Sell (R50). Please note: a Relocation/Move Permit or Permit to Sell cannot be issued on its own — a valid Possession Permit is required first.

Upload Plant Images

Attach clear photos of your cycad/s. These are used by Investment Gardens and DFFE to confirm the species.

Submit Your Application

Submit your application. Our team will review the details and images to confirm the species and calculate your total cost.

Receive Payment Link & Pay

Once costs are confirmed, you'll receive a secure Yoco payment link. Permit fee R50 each, Admin fee R500, Pudo delivery R50 (optional).

Sign Electronically

Once payment is confirmed, you'll be prompted to sign your permit application electronically before it is submitted to DFFE.

DFFE Inspection

A DFFE official will schedule an on-site inspection of your cycad/s at a time convenient to you.

Permit Collection or Delivery

Your permit/s will be dispatched via Pudo, or you will be notified that it is ready for collection at the DFFE offices.
